Bachelor Programs

Bachelor of Arts in Dramatics and the Arts

The B.A. in Dramatics and the Arts is an interdisciplinary degree that allows students complete a core of required courses that provides them with a broad understanding of the various disciplines. The work in the major is completed by choosing courses from a wide array of course offerings.

Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies

The B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies is designed to be the most flexible option to help students maximize their transfer credit and customize their education. Students choose two to three unique areas of study to take more credits, equipping them for the world that waits as they finish the degree at an accelerated pace. â€‹

Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory

The B.A. in Music Theory prepares a musician a wide range of skills including writing, musical analysis, piano and singing proficiency, scholarly reading, and composition in different musical styles. Students gain tools for professions and work in music education, ministry and organizations.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

The B.S. in Nursing is a professional degree designed for pursing working in the nursing field. The degree prepares students for work in hospitals, nursing facilities, community faith based clinics, urgent care and parish nursing settings.

Bachelor of Science in Counseling

The B.S. in Counseling programs is geared towards students who desire further studies in counseling, social work, human services, pastoral care, chaplaincy, clinical pastoral educators. The B.S. in Counseling in a direct path to Wayland's Doctor of Phycology degree.

Bachelor of Science in Education

The B.S. in Education is designed to prepare students for teaching roles in private, public or religious day schools, daycares, nurseries or other educational ministries settings.

Bachelor of Science in Sports Management 

The B.S. in Sports Management program is designed to provide students with an interdisciplinary curriculum. The programs is built on a a solid Christian foundation, and prepares students for work in public recreation and park systems, facility and event management, intercollegiate athletics, professional sports organizations, or community-based amateur athletic programs.

Bachelor of Science in Business Management 

The B.S. in Business Management develop skills in leadership, conflict resolution, employee supervision, and the promotion of a positive work environment. The program examines theories of economics, consumer buying power, ethics, corporate responsibility and budget analysis to learn how to maintain fiscal health within religious non-profits, health ministries and other organizations.

Bachelor of Music Education

The Bachelor of Music Education (pre-certification) degree program is designed for students intending to complete the degree in anticipation of enrollment in the Master's degree in teaching, education or music. 

​

Bachelor of Sacred Music

The 126 hour Sacred Music program is designed for students who are preparing for professional careers in church music. The curriculum provides courses in theological, liturgical, sociological, and practical dimensions of music ministry and requires at least one year of supervised field education in an affiliate church.

Bachelor of Music 

The Bachelor of Music degree is a liberal arts degree which gives special focus to areas of interest in instrumental, vocal, and piano, prepares the student to begin a professional career in music. The Bachelor of Music degree provides thorough preparation for further study in music at the graduate level.

Bachelor of Religious Education

Bachelor of Religious Education programs is an academic degree program designed to prepare mature students for various types of Christian service apart from the ordained ministry. Students are able major in a specific area.

 
Bachelor of Education in Religion

The Bachelor of Education degree builds a strong foundation for you and develops your instructional skills – including communication, group behavior, and human development in the context of Christian schools and religious education.

Associate Programs

Associate of Divinity  

The 60-66 hour Associate of Divinity program is a postsecondary professional degree intended for persons who hold a high school diploma or equivalency certificate, but who have not completed a baccalaureate degree.  The Associate of Divinity program is designed to equip students for effective service at the sector of church and society.

Associate of Arts

The 60-66 hour Associate of Arts program is a postsecondary professional degree intended for persons who hold a high school diploma or equivalency certificate, but who have not completed a baccalaureate degree.  The Associate of Arts program is designed to offer an liberal arts education.
